Housing

Homestays give students the opportunity to live with a French family and fully immerse themselves in French language culture.

HOST FAMILIES IN PARIS

Since 2002, our team has been offering students a unique way to learn French, experience French culture, and discover the city of Paris!

Host Families in Paris arranges for students to stay with families carefully selected for their reliability and the quality of the accommodation they provide.

Our families have all adopted the Host Families in Paris Quality Charter. This Quality Charter guarantees our guests impeccable hygiene and comfort conditions, and a "family" welcome that allows for a successful Parisian immersion.

The program offers a limited number of rooms in student residences in Paris. The types of rooms and amenities vary by residence.

FONDATION DES ÉTATS-UNIS

Located across from the Parc Montsouris in Paris’ 14th arrondissement, the campus of the Cité internationale universitaire de Paris (CiuP) is an architectural treasure. The CiuP welcomes students from 130 different countries, encouraging cultural and linguistic exchanges.

Opened in 1930, the Fondation des États-Unis is a Recognized Public Utility Foundation (FRUP). It offers 274 student rooms, including a floor of art ateliers and music rooms, allocated based on application. The Franco-American cultural program is the fruit of projects lead by alumni, Harriet Hale Woolley scholars, and artists-in-residence. Concerts, exhibitions, workshops, conferences, and performances are all open to the general public.

Visit the Fondation des États-Unis' website for more information on their rooms and services.

Students interested in independent housing must submit the Independent Housing Petition to the UGE office.
