French Track
Mayaki Kimba is a PhD candidate in the Political Science department of Columbia GSAS. He studied at Reid Hall in Summer 2023. As part of the French Track, he took the “Migration, Displacement and Diaspora in the Contemporary Mediterranean”, “Third Year Grammar & Composition”, and audited a course on “Blackness in French: From Harlem to Paris and Beyond.”
Emma Haidar is a Harvard College sophomore. She studied at Reid Hall in Summer 2023. As part of the French Track, she took two courses; one on “Issues in Nineteenth Century Art” and another on “Migration, Displacement and Diaspora in the Contemporary Mediterranean.”
English Track
Charlotte Andreano is a Columbia College second-year majoring in History. She studied at Reid Hall in Summer 2023. As part of the English track, she took the “Blackness in French: From Harlem to Paris and Beyond” and “France's Abolitions and Republics” courses.
Jennifer Harley is a PhD candidate in the Department of Art History and Archaeology at Columbia GSAS. She studied at Reid Hall in Summer 2023. As part of the English track, she took the “Blackness in French: From Harlem to Paris and Beyond” and “Waves on Different Shores: Film in France, Japan, Brazil” course. She also took French language courses at the Alliance Française.

Mackenzi Stevenson is an Operations Research major with Columbia Engineering (class of 2024). She participated in the Columbia in Paris English program in Fall 2023, taking classes at Reid Hall on “City Diplomacy” and “Elites, Privilege, and Inequalities,” alongside French and International Relations courses at SciencesPo.
Thomas Ogg is a philosophy major at the Columbia School of General Studies, originally from Long Beach, California. He studied Art Hum and Music Hum (AHMH) at Reid Hall in Summer 2023.
